Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our editorial team to identify health-related misinformation affecting your region and community.
- Support our fact-checkers by verifying health-related claims relevant to your area of expertise. This may include responding to requests for comments and insights on ongoing stories.
- Contribute articles in your field of expertise addressing current health misinformation trends.
- Collaborate with our tech and public policy team to help design and integrate our AI- driven misinformation detection tools.
- Engage with and promote First Check’s initiatives to address health misinformation, including our tipline, webinars, and social media campaigns.
- Mentor and assist peers within the network to foster collaboration and collective growth.

Eligibility Criteria:
We are seeking professionals with expertise in:
- Public health
- Epidemiology
- Risk communication and community engagement
- Fact-checking
- Digital health
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Health policy
- Health service delivery / Healthcare worker
- Health journalism
- Or other related fields
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the listed areas
- Demonstrated interest or experience in addressing health-related misinformation
- Published papers or research articles in recognized peer-reviewed journals, or international/national media
- Experience working at recognized national/international organisations would be a plus
